ABOUT STATE UNITARY ENTERPRISE “SMART CITY”.
With the support of the chairman of the city of Dushanbe, respected by Rustam Emomali, dated March 7, 2019, No. 276, the State Unitary Enterprise Smart City was established to meet the Dushanbe Social and Economic Development Program until 2025.The state unitary enterprise “Smart City”, the local executive body of state power in the city of Dushanbe (hereinafter referred to as the enterprise), was established in accordance with the Civil Code of the Republic of Tajikistan in order to increase effective services using city information to meet the needs of citizens in the context of services, ensuring the safety of citizens and the protection of public order.The founder of the enterprise is the Local Executive Government Authority of Dushanbe, under the leadership of the Chairman of the City of Dushanbe, who, accordingly, within the framework of his authority on behalf of the meeting of People’s Deputies of the city of Dushanbe, in accordance with the requirements of the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On the Local Government Authority”, the Civil Code of the Republic of Tajikistan, Law Republic of Tajikistan “On state enterprises” and other regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Tajikistan property and communal property belonging to the city of Dushanbe.The main mission of the Enterprise within the framework of the above Program is the transformation of the city of Dushanbe into a “Smart city”. “Smart city” is an element of the city, which is improved and based on the latest theories, city management on the basis of invention, information and communication.
